Vacation Poll

DH and I are planning a trip to India next fall. We want to combine it with a short stay (2-3 days) some place else. Have any of you been to these places? If so, what are your opinions? Which one should we visit?

I would love to go to Moscow. DH has no desire, but everytime I see Red Square on TV, I think WOW, I want my picture there!

Of the other places you listed. I have been to Vienna. It is a beautiful city and the transportation system is great. Lots of great food, pastries and music. We saw an ochestra show of classical music while we were there and it was great. I haven't been to Frankfurt, but DH and I were in Munich and really enjoyed it a lot. The beergardens are a ton of fon and I love German food.

Vienna is absolutely beautiful and germany is pretty nice too. I personally have no desire to travel to moscow. India will probably be just as beautiful too.

I agree - Munich was a lot of fun...nice local day trips too - though I don't think you'd have a lot of time for that with a 2-3 day stay.

I wanted to visit Vienna while in Germany...but we only had 5 days and I didn't want to rush anything. So I voted for Vienna!! Go see some Klimt!

Of your choices, I only visited Amsterdam but I absolutely loved it! There is so much to do and see there. I really want to get back there someday so I can spend more time there.

I'd visit Vienna of the places you listed but I haven't been to any of them, so I am not a good judge. I am just basing it on others reviews. I don't think you can go wrong!
