Re: vacation suggestions
You can go to Niagara Falls - It is a little farther than 5 hrs (more like 8) but it is fun and beautiful! I lived up there for 4 years while I went to college!!! Niagara on the Lake in Canada, right over the boarder is sooo beautiful!

Nigara Falls is SO much fun...its a little far though.
Washington D.C is great too...Fh and I went there- got a great hotel for like $60 a night on hotwire..we went for a week and the trip ended up costing us only like $500.

Re: vacation suggestions
What about Vermont? Stowe has some beautiful Inns. There is shopping, food etc.
Boston is also great all year round. So much to do and wonderful restaurants.
I also recommend Newport, RI during the holidays.
