so what kind do you have and would you tell others to get one.......plz help

I just bought a Kenmoore canister vacuum from Sears. I love it! I had a Dirt Devil bagless that I didn't like before.

I have a Kenmore canister vac too and I love it! My mom has an electroleux that is about 15 years old and it works great. She uses hers everyday (1. because she's a clean freak and 2 she has 3 cats) and it is still going strong. So I would recommend both brands.

Really? They told me the Kenmmore canister should last a very long time. Thats what I wanted. It also has a Hepa filter and bags.

I swear by electrolux! In college, I majored in Home Ec (stop laughing) and I am very particular about appliances. This vacuum is well worth the $$$$. It was one of the firsts to include a HEPA filter. Good Luck!

I have a dirt devil vision bagless and I hate it....

My parents had an ancient electrolux and it did great but lugging that thing around the house was a chore in itself.

When I lived with an ex we had a phantom upright bagless and I loved this thing... still regret letting the ex keep it in the split.

As soon as FH and I get into our own house we will have either a Dyson or an Oreck.
