Hi -
I know you are looking for girls who already dealt with Valentina but I just wanted to say I was there this Saturday to look at dresses and I absolutely LOVED them there. The owner, Ijaz, spent time with both me (wedding dress) and my mother (mother of the bride) as we tried on dresses. He gave us ideas and suggestions to make the my dress unique and her dress more comfortable for her. I didn't buy anything and neither did my mom but we are considering going back because I really liked the one-on-one treatment with the designer himself. I have great confidence in the store.

I haven't been to Valentina yet but one of the women that I work with got her dress there and always raves about it. She loves her dress, got her veil included just for buying her dress there, her and her mom's alterations included (her mom bought her dress there as well)...she also got something for her BM's. I am not positive but I think they also got their dresses there and alterations discounted. She always raves about the one-on-one service and so far her fittings have gone great. I will ask her tomorrow about the BM's. Good luck!

Jan05Bride - that is so funny because I was also there on Saturday (around 12:00 in the afternoon)... I too spoke with the designer and the dress I am interested in (I was there once before) was actually out at a trunk show. He wasn't supposed to get the dress back until the 20th, but he made a special arrangement to get the dress back in this Tuesday for me to try on again which I thought was really nice..

I haven't bought a wedding gown from there but I did buy 2 bm gowns and the bm gowns for my wedding are coming from there as well. Two of my friends also bought wedding gowns from there. We haven't had a bad experience yet, which is why I keep going back to them!

My bm's got their dresses from Valentina's and they've been going for their alterations now...so far they've been great and no problems at all.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Valentina's. They are so wonderful. I could talk about how great they are forever
Jan05: Sounds like you had a great time. My gown is designed by Jay (Ijaz) and he spent so much time with me and my mom talking about the material, the way the dress is made, the train and the detail. I felt like I was the only one in the world. He really makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed.
