Valentine's Day 2003!

hi,
it's not even christmas & i'm thinking about valentine's day already!!!
Since it falls on a friday next year, FH & I want to go away for a 4 day weekend (thursday-sunday)....
somewhere warm & not crazy expensive....
any suggestions (besides florida)????

where can i find some good deals???

That's a great idea!!!! Something nice and warm to plan on such a yucky day!! I didn't even think to make V-day plans yet!!! Airfare is so cheap right now!!!!

We did that last year, taking the Monday Off.
We went to Boston, where neither of us have been and stayed in Cambridge at the Mary Prentiss Inn (they have a website www.maryprentissinn.com).

We enjoyed the bnb part of it, but the weather ****ed, it poured, and I got sick during the trip.

The bnb gets a good a review from me, very nice and quaint

The bahamas are also pretty close.

Wow you are so ahead of me - I cant get past christmas just yet:) Although i should try to think of something since that is our dating anniversary.

February is NOT a good month to go to Bermuda. I have been told its NOT as warm that time of year.
You have to go later than that.
When you think of it, it is not so far south than you think.
We wanted to go, but 2 travel agents said it will not be as warm.

FH and I go to PA every January for a whole week for about $250. You have to bid on the vacations, but you can usually get good deals there. Good Luck!

I know you said you didn't want Florida, but what about Key West?...from what I hear it isn't much like the rest of the state. I have heard some very nice things about it. Also, how about Puerto Rico?

I don't think the bahamas is that warm either -- we were married in February and were a little limited in where we could go for our honeymoon. It's probably in the mid 70's. I may be wrong -- but that is what the travel agent told us. Check Weather.com it gives you high and lows in all parts of the world.

I'm looking for a place to celebrate our 1 yr anniversary in Feb -- would love some suggestions :)
