We are coming up on being togthere 6 yrs, being engaged for 1 yr and thats when our 1 yr countdown begins started 3-13-98, engaged 3-13-03 and married 3-13-05
So for this valentines day, I gave her a home made card from the computer. It's funny how she got it.. We were talking about Valentines day before we meet each other. She brings up the question, what did you give the previous girl before me. I said i use to give out cards from construction paper and magizine clippings and a bunch of unquie stuff. (this is without thinking that i did that this time) but it was a great time to pop out the card i made. The card i gave on the front was just a rose... she opens up the first part of the card which had my message on it... then opens the card again, and see Celine Dion tickets and travel information (jetblue info and hotel info). She is like what is all this... For a split second FW didn't understand but she caught on quick
So we get to see Celiene on our anniversary and maybe she will sing us a song
anyone know any good but not expensive hotels near Ceasers Palace?

Sorry I have never been there so i am no help with the hotel... But just wanted to say that was a VERY thoughtful gift!!! Your FW must be soo excited! Are you using a celine dion song for your first dance? I used 'because you love me' for my father/ daughter dance.. that song always makes me cry! have fun!

We both just got promations at work. I graduate soon and she is soon to follow. I figured we should get out of here for a few days

FH and I have stayed at the Imperial Palace - it's not as fancy as the other hotels but it's on the strip, and our room had a hot tub - i think it was $79/night. But it was back in 2001.

We stayed at the Boardwalk hotel on the strip. It was $99 a night and very nice. Not glitzy like the other hotels, but clean - it had a pool - kind of like a holiday inn or something and right on the strip. It was right next to Caesars too.

I've stayed at Harrahs, which is across the street. reasonable, nice room. Also Bally's had reasonable prices the last we looked into Vegas, and it's OK there too.

The Mirage is right next to Ceasar's. I think they have some inexpensive rooms. Enjoy the trip and the show!

I second the imperial Palace, it is in a great spot, and not expensive at all.
