Valentine's Roses (*Long*)

Valentine's Roses (*Long*)

the doorbell rang yesterday morning and there was a woman there asking me to sign at the x- then she handed me a huge bouquet of long stemmed roses. i actually forgot it was v-day (FI is away on biz). anyway my point is that they are gorgeous (dozen roses w/ greenery, and baby's breath in a really nice glass vase). the florist is located in east northport. my FI's parents have had an account w// them for years and his sister used them for her wedding. they are awesome and very accomodating. if you want the name and number for future reference, let me know.
it's a bummer to put so much thought into making something special and having it turn out to be a major disappointment. defintely call and complain. bring them back and explain this wasn't the first time, ask for a refund!

Oh, I am glad that it isn't just me! I told my fiance not to get me flowers, since they are too expensive this time of year, blah, blah, blah. Well, when I saw a beautiful bouquet of roses on my boss's desk yesterday, I was a little jealous. Oh well, there is always next year after the wedding.

I did get dinner last night, so I guess I shouldn't complain :-)

Im surprised about Zagats b/c I love that rest! (what bad things did they say?) I was just there a few wks ago for my mom's birthday. I almost scheduled MY rehearsal dinner there!! Have you ever seen it? What 'type' of place are you looking for? If you have specific questions, just let me know! :)

We are using Dancejock. They have done two of my friends weddings, and are doing two more of my friend's weddings before mine, and 2 after. We have found them to be wonderful to work with and have been very impressed with them at every wedding we've been to.
