So I do not know if you girls all saw but there were some problems with the valet service at TWOTY.

1. The wait was LONG to get your car.
2. There were some girls who said that change was taken from their car
3. Valet workers were asking people for tips.

I think this is something to speak with your hall about when you are ironing out the details.

I know I am going to ask Crest Hollow how many valets they have at the end. I do not want people waiting 45 minutes to get their cars. I also am going to find out if they use an outside company or they work for Crest Hollow.

I already mentioned this to the Banquet Manager when I met with him during my initial meeting. We'll have 1 valet per 35 people which is around 7/8 valets with 250 people. I specifically stated how I do not want a long line of cars at the beginning or end of the night. Definitely an important question to ask though!

Yeah I need to discuss how many people they will have I dont want my guests waiting all night to get their cars!

I know Harbor Club uses an outside company because I actually already complained one of the times I went there the valet were sitting on cars (not sure if it was their own or a guests) smoking cigs I was like WOW that is not only unprofessional but unacceptable!

My brother owns his own valet company, and he's constantly getting calls to do weddings at halls even when they have a valet company bc like you said Mara...they didn't like the current valet company for what ever reason. I guess they figured its less of headache to pay a valet company that you know and trust that use the free one at the venue and have headaches.

I read the stories, but I didn't realize that halls use outside valet companies.. I guess i just saw thought that they worked for the hall.

Do you remember this summer when one of the 10 brides had girls wallets stolen from the hall, or something along those lines that they snuck into the bridal suite?

Crazy things that you just don't expect to happen.

FH and I were like the 5th person to get our cars that night ( we knew it was gonna be busy so we RAN out). And even then it looked CRAZY. The valets looked confused, no one knew where to put the cars...and it was jsut a mad house.

Thats crazy that people waited 45 min for their car!!! And they were ASKING for tips?! How do you do that?!?!?!

Crazy crazy...
