Valley Stream

We just moved to district 30 and must say that we are happy so far. My neighbors are amazing..and everything is very convenient.
The school ranked #135 out of 1000 national schools..on;y about 9 or so were from long island above it.

I am sure you will hear differing things but all neighborhoods have good and bad unless they are gated.

We just moved to district #24 about a month ago, close to the Gibson area, we really like it, lots of young families on our street.

We looked in all districts, 13, 24 and 30, all had their good and bad areas, its all really what you are looking for, all 3 districts are very good, some of the grammer schools are better than others so do you research and see which ones are most desirable, you can't go wrong with the HS's. The realtor will know which schools the houses you are looking at belong to.
