I called the Vanderbuilt Museum, since I have to try and find a place to have pictures taken indoors, I am going to check them out on saturday.
Has anyone been here? OR can you show me pictures if you have them? Thanks!

Re: Vanderbuilt Museum?
I took, my pictures there. unfortunately i don't have my proofs back to show you. most of our pictures were taken outside though. there aren't that many places to take them indoors there.

The lady rattled off a huge list of places to take them indoors. She gave me at least 5 rooms. I will take a look this saturday. Like most brides, I am now worried about the time of the pictures, and the sun going down and it being too dark , so I kind of have to hope that inside will be okay :( ty !

Thank you so much. Some girl at work told me that she recently went there, and it was shabby looking. I mean, she told me the paintw as peeling and stuff, but I saw pics on their website and I like the vintagey look. I think maybe she just didn't like it.
You reassured me about going there ;) I will see saturday if we are going to use it.
Thank you again :)

There are a couple of rooms inside that are small but sooo unique. I'm not talking about the big rooms where they put their display items, there are more rooms that you can only go in with a guided tour. If you have an appoitment with Carol she will take you to those rooms.

YES! I spoke with Carol. So sweet , unlike some of the vendors I have had to deal with during this past year. I am deff looking forward to check it out then. :)
I love the different rooms and how unique it is. I don't want just normal pics, I want something different.
TYA!

im sure you have a good photographer and a good photog they can make any location look great - but i totally get why you want a diff look than your RH....im sure the musuem is gorgeous...i totally would have gone there but its like a 40 min drive from the hotel and JT and i didnt want to waste all that time driving around, i rather it be less hectic - but if it was closer i would have totally went there!

That is good to know! I deff wanted something closer to the Ceremony location b/c I didn't want to risk getting stuck in traffic. If the Vanderbuilt Museum doesn't work out, I will be going to the Planting Fields Arboretum and I guess I will have to hope that it stays a bit lighter longer that day lol and that it isnt too cold.

I am getting my photos done here. I paid 300 for inside and outside access. I think its cheaper if you choose one area. I have been there and on a nice day, those views are stunning!!! Carol is a doll- i wanted to take her home with me

We did our photos there and they were great to work with and the location is obviously beautiful! We really wanted to book somewhere that had the option to take pictures inside in case of bad weather, luckily we didn't need to worry about it that day! Here are some of my proofs.

wow, amazing pictures. The one of you two in that area that has the gate, I loved that picture on someone else's review, and now that I know that is where it is I am so happy b/c I love that!
Thank you so much :)
