Variety Music??
Has anyone booked or heard anything on Variety Music for their DJ? If anyone could pass any info along, we would greatly appreciate it.

I saw variety perform at a bridal expo. They did a really good job of getting people dancing, but it was the kinf of YMCA stuff with losts of lights and giveawaya, etc. I'm REALLY not into that, so i can't say much about them. If you ARE into that stuff with teh dancersand lights and giveaways, I'd say Get In Tune, who I saw a the same bridal show, were a lot better.
I saw them do the same thing at a showcase that marymoon saw, and I also do not want that kind of stuff at my wedding. However, we met with them, and they are super nice and willing to play or not play whatever you want. FH didn't like their equipment though (he's an audio engineer) so we're not going to go with them but they were soooo sweet!
yeah I liked Rays look - and he told me at the expo he was going to be doing cheezy things- however he said that its much easier for him to tone it down. I really thought Ray was HOT and classy looking so I may go see them soon. I dont want any lightshows or give aways.
We are not looking for any lightshows or givaways or dancers. We are just looking for something simple.
We're not getting any of that either. variety will do it really simple if thats what you want. their prices were very reasonable. I found that all the dj's will do as much or as little as you want, your decision will be based on your 'gut' feeling, like I think pretty much every decision in all this wedding planning is based on.
Did you go with Variety Music?
No, we actually went with Bravura. They had a lot of options to add live music, which we were really looking for!
