I don't think you should be upset, you said you both agreed not to get gifts for VDay so why would you expect more than a card... He might need new sneakers, and as long as he is willing to pay into the wedding than that is like a VDay, BDay, and XMas gift each time he puts in... Cause while the wedding is for the grooms to... The big huge dream one that you guys may be having is basically for the bride....

I agree here, I told FH the same that we shouldn't get each other gifts and all I got was a card. And that's all I expected. I also think he may be in a funk since he just lost a family member? Just a thought...

you are right stacey a funk is def whats going on!
I decided not to bring it up at all as yesterday and today he has been crabby wich is understood and he is never in a bad mood.
I ask him why he is like this he says he is tired,cold ect then I ask is this cause of grandma he says yes. So I am totally over it and I am just going to be there for him and push my feelings aside.
I now realize I was silly for feeling this way and for expecting more when we agreed on nothing!
