What's there to do in Vegas that's not gambling? I know there's shows...but anything else?

Re: VEGAS
We did a whole day of roller coasters once....until I started feeling sick We went to the Siegfried & Roy zoo & aquarium, Fremont Street to see the laser light show one night & basically went to see all the free stuff in all the hotels - my favorites are the Treasure Island Pirate show & the Bellagio fountain show. Of course there are ALOT of bars & clubs too. My favorite bars were in New York New York (ironic huh )

Re: VEGAS
There's plenty to do in Vegas outside of gambling. You can take a day trip to Hoover Dam or even Grand Canyon, visit the sites in each casino, indoor skydiving which is SO much fun, race car driving, lots of shows, Fremont Street experience, Bonnie and Clyde museum, hiking, RVing, spa, Lake Mead....

Re: VEGAS
I was there for 3 days and we did a total of 30 minutes of gambling. We only gambled because we figured we were in Vegas so we might as well loose some money! We partied A LOT. Spent most of our time drinking or by the pool or drinking at the pool...it was a great girls weekend!

Re: VEGAS
I live in Vegas and would suggest the following;
Bellagio. The fountains are breathtaking and tour the conservatory. They change it seasonally with fresh flowers and designs.
Have a romantic dinner at the top of the Eifel tower or another place is at the Voodoo lounge. You have a breathtaking view of the city at both places, but the voodoo lounge ( RIO) is also a club for dancing after. Another nice place is to have lunch ( for cheaper) at Mon Ami a gabe. Its at Paris. Sit outside and watch the Bellagio fountains across the street.
take in the light show downtown .. the Fremont experience. Pretty cool. Free.
Drive out to Red Rock and take a hike, or just go on the 13 mile drive thru it. $5 bucks for the car to go in
See a show. I have seen Phantom of the Opera twice now. it is AMAZING... even if you arent 'into that kind of thing'. Known to be the best production of all the cities its been in thus far. Blue man group. Another crowd pleaser and fun
Go to Harrahs. Carnival court for dancing and flair bartenders, then into the lounge to listen to the dueling pianos. They are a riot. People get into their requests and its a crazy good time.
If you like rides. Go to Circus Circus and the Adventure dome. Ride the roller coaster on top of NY NY. Ride the rides on top of the Stratosphere. VERY scary..LOL
Go rent some ATV's and go for a tour of different areas. Rent some Jet skis and go out on Lake Mead for the day. shop...LOL
Just walking up and down the strip is free and people watch. one of my favorite things to do :)
Hope that helps.

Me and FH went in June last year and we're goin back again in June. We stayed at NY NY but this time we're staying at the MGM Signature. We gambled the last night we were there for about 20 minutes and won 620 dollars. We went to the Hoover dam, Red Rock Canyon, Lake Mead, Valley of Fire, & Fremont Street.....Go shopping, walk the strip and check out all of the hotels..I loved Treasure Islands show and the lobby with the trains....
