My parents are paying for everything for the wedding, so FH and I wanted to maybe send them to Vegas because my mom has always wanted to see Cirque du Soleil and there is a show there to Beatles music now which they both love. They've wanted to go there for a while, but never made it.
My question is: We want to spend between 1k and 1.5k for 3 nights, where do u recommend we book (hotel)? We want somewhere nice, but not too pricey. We're also treating them to the Cirque du Soleil 'Love' show which is about $150 a person. Thanks for any recommendations!

try ceasars - i think that's fancy without being too pricey. also check bellagio prices - you might be pleasantly surprised!

definitely check expedia, travelocity, and orbitz. they usually have packages to vegas that are pretty affordable and staying at really nice hotels like the bellagio, caesars, mgm, etc..

I highly recm'd the Monte Carlo - it's right in the middle of the strip and close to everything!
You can expect to pay about $700 for four days/three nights (including Friday - Sunday.)
I would also recm'd buying the tickets to the show ASAP and in advance b/c they sell out very quickly.

What a nice thing to do for your parents!
The Monte Carlo is great! and...I just got an ad from them. It is valid Sunday through Thursday May 28 - Sept 13, 2007 It includes:
$25 Spa Credit (on $100 or more) $10 free slot play 2 spa passes (facilities only not services) 2 for 1 domestic draft beer at MC Pub 2 Complimentary Buffet Coupons Coupons for food court restaurants (fast food and Starbucks)
Rates starting at $79.95
Book online and receive $10 off per night Use promo code SUMMER and recive upgrade to Monaco Suite for extra $50 per night.
Call 1-800-395-0773 and aask for the SUMMER offer...talk to them to make sure of dates, etc. but then I would book it online to save the $10 a night. www.montecarlo.com
Hope this helps!
PS I agree with the person who said book the tickets soon!
PPS I don't know where you live but if it's convenient to go to MacArthur Airport, try Southwest Airlines...they might have a good package deal for hotel and airfare!

The Venetian is my favorite hotel, but a little pricey. Paris was also nice. I would try to get the Cirque tickets ASAP, they sell out quickly. If they want to see something unique, O is amazing!
