veil

I thought I would take my veil off after our entrance to the reception. Is this weird to do? do most people leave it on the whole time? I just figured I would want my hair to show and take the veil off.

You can take it off whenever you want to!! Some people even take it off before the entrance, I am going to take mine off after our first dance!

i know - i want to wear it b/c i will never wear it again but at the same time i want to show off my hair!

wear it for cocktail hour then take it off

You can take it off whenever you want - before the reception, after the first dance - whenever. I'm getting my veil velcroed onto the headpiece b/c I don't want it on all night, but I don't want to mess up my hair taking it out.

Take it off whenever you want. I had my comb put under my hair so my hair showed and I was able to wear my veil all night.

Take it off after your first dance with FH. I think that is a good time. I would leave it on until then. When are you going to wear a veil again.

You can keep it on or off. My veil is cathedral and I will be taking it off at the hall.

I took mine off right after the ceremony.

If you have a longish veil people tend to pull it when they hug you snapping you head back.

I wore mine all night! If I didn't I would have taken it off at least after the first dance so everyone could see u in your veil!

I took my veil off right after the ceremony. I felt more comfortable without it.

I planned on taking mine off for the reception, but I forgot all about it. My veil was under my updo do you could still see my hair and it was only fingertip length so it did not really get in my way at all.
