So, starting to think about Veil(s) before I go for hair trials. I plan on wearing my hair mostly down- with a few crystal pins to pull a bit back on the sides and curly. My dress is pretty simple so I wanted to get a long veil - no detail just pretty long. Few questions- Can I do this without wearing my hair back or a hair comb? If you wear a looonnngggg veil for the ceremony & pics after - do you have to wear a shorter veil with it? Would it work just to wear 1 long veil for ceremony & pics, take off after and just have the hair pins in?

That is what I did. I had a two tier cathedral veil--not the detachable kind. I just took the whole thing off for the reception...and then I lost it...
...gotta get over that...

My veil is long... and if I'd like to wear it the whole day, they told me that i can make it shorter (there's a clip to make it shorter). I like how it looked so I'm wearing it long for pictures and ceremony and clip it for the cocktail hour. Then take it off during the reception. That's not a definite plan yet though.

i actually have 2 veils and long cathedral one for the ceremony and pics and then just a regular one for the reception but i'm wearing my hair up
