Are you taking it off after ceremony? Or after first dance? Or are you wearing it through out the reception?I've been thinking about this a lot lately bc I originally washed a bird cage but I won't be able to wear a veil ever again so now I'm leaning more towards a veil.

I wore mine through the first dance and took it off after the toasts. It got annoying bc every time someone hugged me it was getti pulled on.

I'm totally debating this as well! I know i'm definitely leaving it on through the first dance. Originally i was thinking after that, i would take it off but now im not so sure. Again, it's the only day i'll ever wear a veil and also I'm OBSESSED with my veil, i think i love it more than my dress
so I'm really tempted to wear it all night. PLUS it's cathedral but it bustles which would make it easier to wear the whole day. Decisions, decisions!

This is exactly what happened to me. First, I removed the blusher, then the veil, but my tiara stayed on all night.

Your veil bustles???? Is that unique to the veil or do you know if that can that be done to any type of cathedral?

I have a cathedral for the pictures and the ceremony. I'll change to my elbow length for the first dance, then ditching both for the rest of the night.

My mom suggested switching from finger tip to a bird cage for the reception......thoughts? My moh is a hair dresser so she will help make that change!

I also have a cathedral veil that bustles, so my plan is to keep it on all night. I got mine at Barrons and told him I wanted it to bustle. He's adding 2 small kind of button hole loops to the side of the veil and I have to tell my seamstress so she can add 2 buttons to loop the veil through.

I'm wearing mine all night, I'll either be getting a fingertip or elbow length veil. I think I'll feel naked without it haha.

I'm not sure if it's just me because I had never seen a veil that bustles either!
