Veil Advice

I love the lok of a mantilla veil, but I'm not sure if it would go well with my gown.

It's very simple with no beading or lace, i'll try to insert a pic:

unfortunately I don't have a front view, but the front is very simple.

Do you think it would work - I am thinking some thing like this

Since your dress is unadorned, then a mantilla would look great with it. The lace on the edge would stand out.

I think you can do it because you said the front of the dress doesn't have any decoration on it. If there were a lot of crystals or beading that would clash, then I might think twice. As long as there is nothing to compete with the lace then I think you are fine.

One other thing to consider might be the 'feel' of your gown. Is it modern or more antique? That might help your decision also. I think the lace has a very beautiful antique classic feel. If it fits - go for it! I also really think it's a gorgeous look but my gown is very ornate in the front and also more modern. That's what helped me decide...HTH!!!
