Mine is staying on ALL day - it's going to be attached in with my hair do, so I can't take it off and I don't want to either. It's so pretty!

I wore mine for most of the reception, but took it off for the last hour or so, after the father daughter dance and cake cutting.

I am only wearing my veil up until the first dance and its off the remaining of the reception, I don't want to be bother with it falling off or getting caught on someone while dancing. I want to also show off my hair style. (To each her own) JMO

i left mine on all night... i figured it is one of the few times in my life that i will get to wear one... and it made me feel more 'bridy' It didnt annoy me at all!

I took mine off after the first dance and toasts - it was much easier to do things without worrying about the veil getting caught on everything.

Your veil is beautiful! What length was it?

As for the question in this post, I would love to keep it on, it is the only day in which I will be a bride, but it all depends how I feel that day!

I might wear it for the first dance and then take it off...but I definitely don't want it on all night, personally, it would annoy me.

I was not going to wear a veil at the reception but my mother had a point. That I will never wear a veil ever again. Its once your lifetime you wear that veil.

I had a cathedral veil- it was gorgeous- but I took it off after pictures because I was afraid it would get in the way when we did our first dance-we took ballroom dance classes and I wanted it to go perfectly...It didn't mess up my hair because the hairdresser knew I was taking it off so he put the comb in a good place and my hair was perfect after!

I removed mine after the first dance but in retrospect I wish I had kept it on. I had a lot of problems with my dress (too much cleavage) so I think the veil would have distracted from the dress a little.
