Who is keeping their veil on for their reception? Is anyone else paranoid like me that if you take it off, your hair will somehow get messed up? Also, I think that for the one day in a lifetime where a veil is acceptable, why not keep it on? lol

The hairdresser should be able to show you hotw to work it so you won't have problems with your hair.
Now that you mention it, I am freaked out about that as well. But I kinda agree with you say, its one day in a lifetime.

I have a mantilla, and as much as I love it and as expensive as it was I will be taking it off before the reception. I want pics w/out it on, I want to be able to see my hair b/c I am wearing it half up. I will be asking my hairdresser how to take it off w/out ruining my hair when I have my trial
i said of course i'm keeping it on... however, i havent picked one out yet so i might switch to a shorter one or something. i definately want to wear one though, but if I'll have it under my hair in the back somewhere.... at least that's the plan right now

im undecided...but depending on how much im spending on a veil i might keep it on during the reception...when i bought my dress she put a veil on me and bustled bc it was a cathedral to show me how it would look and it looked great

i really like the way it felt having the veil, tiara, and dress on....so i didn't bother taking it off. it was only a fingertip veil--so it wasn't in the way or anything.

i think im actually gonna go to kleinfelds soon to look at veils. I wanna see if i can even use the 2 $500 GC's i have, its less for accessories but ill see what the manager can do for me, she was great when i first went, and they already put on my receipt 15% off for when i do buy a veil. I already know which one i want

Didn't mean to freak you out lol It's something I thought of the first time the lady put a veil in my hair and I messed it up taking it out!

I have a cathedral length mantill and a fingertip length as well. I'll likely remove the cathedral lenght one for the reception b/c it seems excessive but I'll keep the short one on.

i havent decided yet. I will probably keep it in with the option of taking it out. I know that If i take it out right away and want to put it back in for something, i wont be able to do it right.

I dunno! Good question. I'm not sure if I am going to wear a veil at all....but if I do, I'd probably only wear it for the ceremony.
Might get in the way of my booty shaking

I really feel you wear the damn thing once then wear it all night. My issues is I have a balero jacket being made for my dress and I think it would be too much if all three are together. I do not know yet since I haven't tried all three on. That and I have no clue what hte veil i am going to wear is.

I will have 2 one catherial and one half the length. I will take the catherial on off after church or the first dance
