Who is keeping their veil on for their reception? Is anyone else paranoid like me that if you take it off, your hair will somehow get messed up? Also, I think that for the one day in a lifetime where a veil is acceptable, why not keep it on? lol
I am undecided right now. My mom wants me to keep the whole thing on. My cathedral and everything but I am not sure if it will get in my way. I might keep the whole thing on or go shorter or nothing at all. I am having a hard time with this one. I don't know what I want to do yet.
I am having a cathedral lengeth and it will detatch so that at the reception i will have the elbow lenght one on only.
Im wearing it lol!
I really don't want a veil at all, but everyone's tellin me I should haha...so i'm only wearing it for the ceremony and then it's coming off!!
Initially, I wasn't going to wear one at all, but to make Mom happy, I'm going to wear one for the ceremony and take it off right after.

i think im actually gonna go to kleinfelds soon to look at veils. I wanna see if i can even use the 2 $500 GC's i have, its less for accessories but ill see what the manager can do for me, she was great when i first went, and they already put on my receipt 15% off for when i do buy a veil. I already know which one i want
I wearing my veil at the church only, I will be taking it off at the reception, I cant dance in it, I will get tangled in it ahahahah

They do have great veils there!!! The one I liked was $200, but cathedral. I want it fingertip. But apart of me feels like it's too much to spend

When I went the other time they had amazing veils, and tiaras etc, the want I want, of course, it has to cost $900 right![]()

i really wish i could wear my veil at the reception. it is SO long, but i am in love with it! i am afraid that it would get messed up if i wore it for the reception anyway (it is really old, my great randmothers). maybe for the first dance if i can pull that off.
i am not keeping my veil on. i am getting a fancier hairstyle and combs...so the veil will be off for the reception. i am making my own veil b/c the one i want is about $200. IMO that's too much.
i have 2 veils a cathedral lent one for the church and to walk into the hall but after we walk in a will chang einto a shorter one...and if that gets really anooing ill just take it off and leave the tiara on...who knows we shall see

I am deff going to be wearing mine.
FH's mom owns a beauty salon. She will be incharge of all my hair stuff, so I will let her make that decision. We talked about wearing it up with the veil and then her adding some sort of clip with flower later after the ceremony. But still, not 100% sure
I am wearing a cathedral veil which was my moms, and greatgrandmothers for the ceremony and then wearing a shorter veil for the reception! I feel like I am only going to be a bride once so i want to try and wear it almost all night :)
