I don't know why but all of a sudden I don't feel like I love my veil and my belt anymore. I am still totally in love with my dress though!!!!!!! With or with out a veil and a belt........... Can i just drop the veil and the belt??? I'm more concerned about not using the veil. My mom thinks I will regret it if I don't. Is everyone definitely wearing veils?
edited for a typo :)

Veil & Belt
I'm wearing a veil but only through the first dance. I would bring it with you the day of and decide when you're getting ready. If you decide not to wear it I don't think you'll regret it, I mean are you going to be on your deathbed saying to your family members I should have worn a veil on my wedding day? I think it's really a minor detail that isn't going to make or break your day!

You do whatever makes YOU happy. It is your day. You don't have to follow the 'norm'. If you don't want to wear the veil, don't!

I don't know I just don't love it. I might have it in my budget to get another one, I'll know in a few days. I could look around but I don't want to find another one and then not be able to afford it. Maybe I will bring it along and just decide on the spot whether or not to wear it, that's a good idea. Thank you both!

I think this is the best way. My dress came with a belt that I was against wearing (I didn't feel my dress needed it). I brought it anyway and put it on for the reception. I also removed the veil after the 1st dance. Do what makes you happy but go with options.

Re: Veil & Belt
I am using my veil for the church and pictures but coming off for the CH and Reception. It's my mom's veil and cathedral so I don't want anything to happen to it. I'm still in love with my belt but having some reservations about my head piece.
