Veil...can't decide

You guys have been great with the surveys so I here is another one...

I bought a one layer fingertip veil with no edge. (I'm a simple girl )

I will definately wear my hair up high in a bun with a tiara but I am torn between wearing the veil behind my head (just below the bun) or go a more traditional route with it on top of my head before the bun. Wish I had some pictures to show. Either way the veil is coming off for the entire reception. We are taking all pics before the ceremony.

Now I know I'm no Katherine Zeta Jones but this is what inspired me to go the behind the head route for the veil. My tiara is similar...a little smaller.

I think you should bring your veil to the salon and have a hair trial, take photos and see what you like best. Make sure you take the photos- I loved my hair with pieces hanging down in the salon but when I looked at the photos I think it looked sloopy. It all depends on how you like the look in the photos.

Good idea...I'm just anxious. How much time do you get at the trial? Should I bring my sister for support and decision making or is it ok to go it alone?

I planned on mine going on top of my head but then I started having nightmares of me lighting it on fire during the unity candle lighting!! yikes!
But then I realized it could go lower below my curls and would look awesome!
So, I'm going to have it like CZJ.
About the trial I brought my mother with me, it was our usual stylist and well they both cried some and I think it it helped my mom to see it in advance emotionally wise.

Sounds like a sentimental event....I will ask my sister to come. Thanks for the input. Is wearing the veil behind the head becoming more popular lately or was it always around?
