Got my veil today. I was originally going to use my sister's but I wanted crystals added to it. They told me it would be the same $ to add crystals as to just get a new one bc the material for the veil itself costs next to nothing. So $350 later I have a 4-yard cathedral veil with a second layer and blusher. Everything but the blusher will have scattered tiny crystals to help me shine since my gown has no detail. Hope it comes out nice - I'll find out March 7!

Re: Veil - check
I know - I almost didn't get it bc it was so $. But oddly enough my mother convinced me to do it. My dress is very plain and I had my heart set on it to tie the whole look together - but that was before I realized how much it was. I guess I should have looked into it first. But I spent less on my gown than I thought I would so it kinda balances out. Plus I'm 99% sure I'll sell it after the wedding - so I'll try to make at least $200 back on it.

Re: Veil - check
Thanks everyone! I got it from D enise L eli at the Wedding Co. Her work is amazing. My sister got her headpiece from here and it's absolutely beautiful - I'll be using it for my wedding as well.
