What are you planning to do with your veil during the reception? Will you wear it? Will you take it off?

I wore my veil throughout my entire day, including the reception. But it was only a fingertip-length veil and it was pinned in the back under my hair so it was never in my way. If you're wearing anything longer you might want to take it off (maybe leave it on for your first dance).

i am wearing it through the introduction, first dance and cake cutting (before dinner) during dinner i plan on taking it off for the rest of the night

i attempted to wear my veil the entire night but after so many hugs from everyone it became loose and i took it off about half way through after the dances and cake and etc we done...

I had two, a cathedral and a fingertip. The cathedral came off after the ceremony. I kept the fingertip on until about halfway thru the reception.

our cake is being served with ice cream as dessert. we are planning on cutting it right before dinner is served as to allow the kitchen staff time to plate it. after introductions and first dance we will be announcing the cake cutting, so any guests who may want photo ops can take pics and then we will procede to cut it. i am a big fan of dessert before dinner anyway

hehe...sounds good to me!!! it's all about space and calorie allocation....i wouldn't want to fill up on dinner and not have room for dessert.

I am planning to wear my veil through out the day! The veil over my face walking down the asile and as my father pushes is back I will wear it like that throughout the day!!!! I am so excited! Only 8 Months to go!!!! YAY!!!

I loooove this idea. It allows for more dancing later AND will assure that the cake gets served right after dinner!!! I may do this too now! Thanks!

I think I'm taking it off after the first dance. I've heard horror stories of the bride hugging everyone and it getting pulled out.

I had a fingertip, I was in love with it and kept it on through the whole reception. didn't bother me one bit!

I wore mine thru our first dance..then took it off. I like that i have pics of me in my dress with & without it...
