Re: Veil on a stick?
Wow!! When did this thread pop up?If the 'veil on a stick' mystery hasnt already been solved I think I may know what your talking about. Its a veil that uses a pin or a hairstick to secure to your head instead of a comb.

Me too, a comb will 'stick' to my hair just fine
I cant imagine a stick is any more sticky !!!!!

Re: Veil on a stick?
I think this is a pretty ugly illustration since the pin looks better underneath the hair but its all I can find. This style is called a drop or a cage style. Its a way to get a very simple look without the puffiness of the standard comb veil. Its what I wore.

Re: Veil on a stick?
Hey Stef,Is that the same as the 'mantilla' type veil. It's a more spanish feel to it. I love your veil. That's something I would like to wear.

Re: Veil on a stick?
I think you wear a mantilla right on the edge of your head so there is no blusher like this:
My veil was similiar to a mantilla in that it was all one big piece of fabric but I had it hang over my face and folded it back for photos.
