I was wondering who is taking their Veil off at the reception? I wanted to keep mine on..it is the one day to ever wear it ..it seems like everyone takes them off today though.

I'm planning on leaving it on until after the first dance at least. The reason I want to take it off is because the back of my dress has a lot of detail/embroidery that will be hidden by the veil otherwise.
But who knows? I guess I'll see how it goes that day

I also plan on leaving mine on until after the first dance but I have a feeling it will be annoying me and I will have it off during the cocktail hour.

I am taking mine completely off after the first dance. The back of my gown is to pretty to be covered up!!

i have cathedral also, but that part comes off and i have a shorter part for the reception.

I am leaving it on.... it is special if I have a long veil i am going to have a short one too a nd just take off the long one

I think I will probably do the same. I also don't want to sweat with it on.

What are you doign with your hair? I didn't want to wer a tiara, but if I uses comns or pins, my hair will look so plain during the reception. I'm thinking head band now, but that limits my styling options.

Good i am happy to hear i am not the only one keeping it on. I feel like every wedding I go too no one has it on anymore.
