I was wondering who is taking their Veil off at the reception? I wanted to keep mine on..it is the one day to ever wear it ..it seems like everyone takes them off today though.

I'll probably take my veil off to show off the back of my dress, but I'm not sure!

I'm leaving mine on all day. Mine is a short one - elbow length, so it won't be in the way and even it was a longer one I probably would still wear it, 'cause how often would you wear one.

Re: Veil on or off at reception?
I'll have mine on for the ceremony and for some pictures afterwards, but that's it. I just don't want to have to fuss around with it at all.
ETA: I have a crown, so my hair will be in a bun the entire time. My veil will hang from the bottom of it. Does that make sense?

Re: Veil on or off at reception?
i was originally going to take it off... but no offense to those who took theirs off, you look more 'bridey' with it on. so i may just leave it on... but i still haven't decided. it may get in my way. (when my hair is down it annoys me.. so my veil might too)

I want to keep it on but if it gets annoying I will take it off. I would imagine it hurts after a long time, no?

I plan on leaving it on all night. Like everyone else said, it's the only time your going to wear one and I also think it makes you look more 'bride-y'

I'm wearing mine, I don't feel like a 'bride' without it

Re: Veil on or off at reception?
I didn't plan on taking it out but during the reception I was getting so hot from dancing that I had to get it off my back. I put it back on for the cake cutting, garter toss, dad dance and it came off again
