Veil or no veil?? 09er crashing

Hello ladies!

My mom and I were discussing this the other day...

Did you keep your veil on the whole day or take it off before the reception? I told her I wanted to take it off after our first dance but she says it should be worn all day.

What did you girls do??

took it off right after pix bfr the reception ! I did NOT want that thing on my head the whole night

I kept my veil on for most of the reception, that's not what I planned but I liked how it looked and I got too busy to take it off. By the cake cutting I took it off though.

im taking mine off after 1st dance.. i dont think i could stand wearing it all night

I wore mine the whole time. Reception and all! It didn't bother me, I didn't even really notice it. But I could see how some might find it annoying. You should do whatever will make you comfortable and happy

I planned on taking it out but my friend (who did my hair) told me that if I wanted it out, I should have her do it. I didn't want to mess up my hair or take time out of the reception so I left it in all night. I bustled my dress before I walked in.

I did the same thing. I planned to take mine off and then decided it wasn't worth the effort. I did bustle my dress right after pics though!

I had a three tiered veil, I wanted to keep a portion of the veil on all night, so the blusher veil was removable as well as the royal cathedral veil. After the church and garden photos, I removed both and just wore the shoulder length veil for the evening.

i took mine off right after the ceremony.

we took pics before the ceremony, so i have it on for all of those photos.

we had a choreographed 1st dance and i didn't want to deal with the veil.

i don't regret that at all .... its not like anyone would be confused as to who the was!

I intended to take mine off during the reception cause I was really anti veil BUT it was a one tier fingertip and so pretty and it was in ma hair at the back so it didnt bug me at all. i kept it on all night casue i forgot I ahd it on.
