I love how you can put a flower/clip in your hair without the veil & if I were getting married outside or something I definitely would have gone without a veil. I will be wearing a veil & probably taking it off right after the first dance & introduction.

even though i did wear a veil, i took it right off after first dance. Infact alot of girls on here did the same thing, they wore veils but took them off at the reception. You dont have to wear it all night even if you do wear one

Thats what I plan on doing.

I actually had two veils -- one I used as a blusher (finger tip length) and the other came a little higher then my hips. Before the cocktail hour I took off the longer one and kept the shorter one (finger tip length) on all night. I had no intention of keeping either on one but it wasn't bothering me and my sister told me I should just keep it on so I did.

To be honest I don't think you look anyless like a bride without it on or any more of a bride with one.

I'd strongly suggest wearing a veil. I know a lot of girls don't want to wear it or think it'll be uncomfortable, but I find that the day of, girls really love having that. I think it truly makes you feel like 'a bride.' That's why dress stores always give you one to try on when you're looking for dresses.

You can always take it off before the reception!

I wore my veil all day actually. I wanted to take it off but I just kept forgetting lol And I didn't want to mess my hair up god forbid, so I just left it in. I do wish I would've had it down lower though, but whatever, you can take it off after you guys cut the cake or w/e or after your first dance.

i took mine off after cocktail hour - i wore it the whole day for pics, during the ceremony, and during the cocktail hour......

i didnt want a veil, wasnt crazy about them but oddly enough i felt like more of a bride with it on - more complete....

part of me wishes i kept it on BUT i also wanted to show off my haircomb inthe back of my hair and i think it would have gotten annoying during the reception.....but it was pretty.....if i could do it all over again i may have even kept it on!
