Veil over face during ceremony?

Original post by jessnyc711

Just wondering if anyone is wearing the veil blusher over your face during the whole ceremony then lifting for the kiss?

I want to wear my blusher until the kiss, but we are having a full mass so I need to figure out if I could take communion with it on.

Nah! I decided not to wear one at all. I always hated how no one ever straighted it out and it would be all crazy in the pics. Also, didn't want anything to interfere with the line of my dress in the back. I went with a 1 layer 102' wide cathedral, worn on top. That I made myself for $15.

I decided against it.

I just decided not to wear the veil over my face at all. I want to see James' face when I am walking down the aisle.

I will wear the blusher over my face for the whole ceremony.

Mine was over my face until it was time to drink the wine. Then DH lifted the veil, and stayed up the rest of the time.

I plan on wearing a blusher when I walk down the aisle, and then having my dad lift it. I haven't bought my veil yet, so I'll have to make sure I like the look...
