I am having a debate with my mother in law regarding my veil. Please tell me if you are walking down the aisle with it over your face. I don't think i want to and my fmil keeps talking about it.
Help???

Re: veil over your face?????help?
I walked down the isle with it over my face, to follow tradition, and because I wanted to. But as soon as we got to the alter my dad lifted it over my head to kiss me and it was gone. It looked really pretty over my face in pictures. It really made me feel and look like a bride!! You don't have to do it, nowadays a lot of brides don't, but it is a nice touch!!

I am not planning to wear mine over my face either. My mother has been on my case about it, but I really don't want to do it.
I hope FMIL gives you a break about this. It's your decision.

I am wearing mine over my face, I got the 2 ply veil specially for that.
I think its very romantic to walk down the eisle with it over my face, and than when I get there, have my FI lift it over my face....
I like that...

I haven't decided yet, but I will get a veil with 2 tiers in case I decide to. Why don't you wait to make that decision? You can make it 1 mintues before you walk down the aisle if you want to.

I'm not sure what to do wither. I am very torn over it. I like the blusher because it is very traditional, but I like the other way also. I have no idea.

I am going to wear the veil over my face until I reach FH. I like tradition (with some things of course )

No veil over the face. I don't want anything getting in the way of me walking down the aisle and the last thing I need is something covering my face. The possibility of tripping if highly increased by not being able to see.

I had the blusher over my face and I loved it because it hid the tears somewhat as i was walking down with my dad - when i know people can see my crying, i tend to cry more......
but's it's your personal decision. in my vision of my wedding, i was wearing a blusher over my face....your vision could be different.

I am definately wearing a veil down the aisle. I am getting a 2 tiered veil, the first layer won't have crystals and the second will.

I wore mine over my face and I'm so glad I did. This may sound weird, but I've walked down the aisle so many times as an MOH and BM, that wearing the blusher really made it sort of different, and very surreal. It was one of those moments when you realize I'm the Bride!!!!

Re: veil over your face?????help?
I went the route of tradition and wore the blusher over my face. I actually purchased a circlette which was placed over my headpeice and veil. It made it really simple when my Dad removed it for the hand off.
I am walking down the aisle with the veil over my face...I am not sure if I want to keep it over my face through the whole ceremony or have my dad lift it at the end of the aisle. What is everyone else doing?
