Veil Placement Help!!!

How many of you ladies are putting your veil on the top of your head and how many of your are putting it in back up your head? I have a cathedral veil and I'm not sure what to do. I also don't know wether or not to wear a blusher. Please give your opinions and post some pictures of what you are doing or have done.

i wore my hair half up and wore it behind the top part. i had a blusher.

my friend got married 2 weeks before us and had an updo with a cathedral veil and wore it at the back of her head, no blusher

it depends more on your hairstyle.. how are you wearing your hair?

I will have my hair all up in tight curls. Your friens hair is very pretty. I could never pull that off.

I think it depends on your hair and what kind of brooche you have in your hair....

Like others said, it depends on your hairstyle. I did a hair trial last month - a half up/half down do, and I placed the veil on the top of my head. My veil is kind of long (I think it's fingertip), so I wanted it up higher to show off the back of my dress more. Also, it looked more bride-ish that way on me. Below are pics.

I'm going to go for another hair trial, where I might do my hair more like in the 3rd pic (from when I tried on my dress/veil/headpiece in the store), but I'd get it all curly, and I think I'd also try to put it on the top of my head like I have it in the 3rd pic.
