I got a fingertip veil that has this beautiful double line of beading on the end. It matches my dress perfectly. I only plan on wearing it during the ceremony.

I wanted a cathedral veil but could not find anything to go with my dress. I found a veil that was perfect but is only fingertip. My bridal salon was checking to see if tey can order it longer but unfortunatly they can't. So I order the one that matched my dress, however I keep looking for a cathedral veil but don't see anything I like. And I plan on taking it off after our first dance. Why don't you try going to Barron's in Tri-County. They can custom make any veil you want for a very reasonable price. I don't know where you live but Tri-County is in Levittown/East Meadow - I can never remembmer.

I work 5 minutes from there... I will have to go and look tomorrow. Thanks for the info.

Mine is a 2 layer elbow length with a thin satin edge. I tried on longer ones but they just seemed to be too long or in the way.

Cathedral.... that 'turns into' an elbow length (it's a removable attachment. Cathedral for Mass and pictures, elbow length for reception and dancing! i want to wear a veil ALL day! PIcs of my veil are in my album.
