How many of you are wearing your veils over your face coming down the aisle, or wearing blushers? I bought a blusher and it looks ridiculous. I honestly feel like a ghost! Anyone NOT wearing their veils over their faces?

Re: Veil Poll
I'm not going to wear one. I'm going to spend a fortune that day to look beautiful; I might as well show it off. lol
Really, I want to be able to see my FH and the people who are there to celebrate at the church. I don't want material flapping in my face. I think it's totally ok if you don't wear one.

Re: Veil Poll
I don't mind so much what it feels like, but mine doesn't lay right really...it looks so drapped and kind of scary lol.

Re: Veil Poll
Haven't gotten the veil yet. If it doesn't feel right when I do get it-then it won't be covering my face.

regardless of what year it is some people (like myself) liked doing it the traditional way

Re: Veil Poll
I'm pretty sure I'm going traditional... veil covering my face down the aisle until my dad unveils me and gives me away. So dramatic and beautiful...

Re: Veil Poll
I'm wearing my veil under my hair, so no, it will not be over my face. It's personal preference

Re: Veil Poll
I knew from the beginning that I did not want a blusher. I knew I wanted a veil in the back of my head. I tried several styles and everybody seems to agree with the style I picked.

Re: Veil Poll
no blusher for me! do whatever makes you happy! Also no worries about getting it to lay right once it is put over your head

Re: Veil Poll
i'm NOT wearing anything over my face. I'm not crazy about veils in general - JMO - and kept mine as simple as possible...one layer, elbow length, no beading. I don't plan on keeping it on for long.

Re: Veil Poll
i hate it when my hair is in my face (i'm always in ponytails!!), so there is no way i'm having a veil in my face.
but, to each her own....

Re: Veil Poll
I didn't wear a veil at all...I knew before I tried one on that I didn't want to wear one...but once I tried one on, I was certain. It wasn't me...and I just didn't feel comfortable. I don't regret it in anyway...but my DH was annoyed for a while that I wouldn't be...'it's not traditional...you have to.' Well....I didn't and he saw the day of how amazing I looked without and said so. A veil would've changed how I looked...and we were outside...the wind knocked my hair in my face...a veil would've been all over the place.
Why this story? To let you see it's a personal choice and you should go with what makes you comfortable. That's what matters most (as far as your overall look the day of).

I'm wearing a blusher. I went to Barrons in tri county and they have a million veils for you to try on. You may have better luck there
