i wore my veil under my hair and used the top tier as a blusher. phyliss had given me a separate blusher, but i didn't like it as much as the top tier.

i had NO problem seeing anything through the veil and people saw me just fine.

Thanks Ladies. Now i know it isn't just me! Seems like a 50/50 split. My fiancee might be disappointed, but its just not me. I always planned on wearing my veil under my updo, but the blusher thing they convinced me off at the bridal salon just isn't cutting it for me. It looks awkward on me, so no Veil! Thanks for helping me feel right about my decision!

I don't think I am wearting a blusher either.....after all that money I am going to spend on make-up...everyone is going to see it for as long as possible

I didn't. I just wore a veil in back underneath my up-do.

I think more and more girls are choosing not to wear the veil over their faces. It is a personal choice, do whatever makes you comfortable.

No blusher for me...I'm spending a fortune on hair and makeup so I really don't want to feel covered up....plus my ceremony is outside and with my luck a gust of wind will come as soon as i'm walking down the isle and i'll have a a huge lipstick stain on the blusher...so the blusher is out!
