Sorry haven't been around in a while! My veil just came in. Besides the minimal wrinkles from the packaging that I was able to get out by hanging it in the bathroom while I showered, I noticed it is VERY static-y.
Anyone know how to get rid of this?
I am not sure if the material of the veil has anything to do with it...it isn't that normal stiff tulle, it is a lot more softer and finer....
Let me know what works...don't need to be walking down the aisle with my veil stuck to my butt LOL!
TIA!

Re: Veil Question
I don't know about static guard, but try rubbing a fabric softener sheet on it (they make unscented ones). That always gets static out for me.

Re: Veil Question
The fabric softener sheets sound like a good idea...but does anyone know if this will ensure killing the static for good? I mean, I am only wearing the veil for the ceremony and formal pics, but still, don't need the static to come back halfway through!

Re: Veil Question
Mine was very staticky to & I just hung it up, covered in a sheet to protect it & it was fine by the time I had my hair trial.
( ETA --the static never came back)

Sounds good to me! I guess I will hang it on a hanger, cover it with a white sheet, and see what happens! Thanks!!!

Re: Veil Question
Static guard should be fine. I've used it for ages on every type of material. It's meant for this specific purpose so it will def. work!

Re: Veil Question
When i bought my gown and veil the bridal store told me to spray both with static guard, so i assume it wont harm anything otherwise they wouldnt have told me to use it.
