Veil question

Is it a good idea to get your veil at the same place as yor dress, so you can see them together? How important is this?

Re: Veil question

good question..I know I am not..I cant spend the $700 on the veil they recommended for my gown, plus im not ordering it in the same color as the sample...I am just hoping that white is white, and its sheer enough that nobody will be able to tell

Re: Veil question

I've always wanted a poofy veil but I want to make sure it looks right with my dress.

I'm sure you don't have to order the veil they suggest for you. You could try on a bunch of the veils they have at the shop to see what style looks good with your dress.

I looked all around for veils. I ended up getting it the same place as my dress becuase I was able to see how they look together. I don't think I would have gotten the veil that I did if I hadn't tried them on together.

I don't think it's very important. My gown and my veil did not come from the same place. I suppose it might be an issue if you're embellishing the veil with lace, but for a plain veil it isn't necessary.

I don't think it's important at all either. I would try some on just to see what they look like with your dress.......then search for a cheaper version of it elsewhere. Most veil places will send you color swatches for free so you are sure to order the right color for your gown. I would never pay bridal salon prices for my veil...........that's my opinion of course :) :)

Good luck!
