Re: Veil Question
Im not sure, I will see how it goes, if its not uncomfortable then I will probably keep in on the whole day, but only the blusher part.

Re: Veil Question
I kept mine on by accident..I meant to take it off but I was so wrapped up in everything that I didn't want to take the time to do it...I kind of regret it...it wasn't uncomfortable or anything but I think the reception pics would have been better w/out it..but like everything else, its a personal prefrence

Re: Veil Question
I had a cathedral length veil and I kept it on from 9:30am until about 7:30pm after I dance with DH and then my dad. As soon as the dance with my dad was over I had my dress bustled and my veil removed.
The veil had gone through hell for me since I had two ceremonies and was trekking around NYC for hours taking pics. It was beautiful, but by the time the party started I wanted it off. I also thought that I would have felt kinda silly with a veil on the whole night (JMO).

Re: Veil Question
I wore my fingertip veil the whole night, but you don't have to.
My cousin just got married on Saturday and she didn't wear her veil for the reception. Tho it was cathedral length, so that might've been why.

Re: Veil Question
I had planned to keep mine in, but during mass, my father accidentally hugged me too hard and was crying and he accidentally pulled it out of my hair, so we stuck it back in, but after all the formal pictures, we just took it out again, so it would stop falling out.

Re: Veil Question
I took mine off b/c we couldn't do our first dance with it on. Looking back at the non-pro pics I have, I wish I had put it back on.

Re: Veil Question
I wore mine the whole reception because it wasn't very long and I wasn't afraid of people snagging into it. I was going to take it off and then I looked at it and to take it out and to fix up the hair underneath it would be too much. ( I wore my hair half up and down, and even though the curls were there, the veil had made it frizz a bit.)
You should see how it goes. If you aren't annoyed about it after the church and photos, keep it on. If you want it off immediately then take it off. I know my friend who got married she couldn't wait to take her veil off after photos. All personal preference.
Good luck and congratulations.

Re: Veil Question
I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I have a cathedral length veil for the ceremony. I also bought a fingertip length if I decide to wear one at the reception. I probably won't decide until the day of.

Re: Veil Question
Last week I was watching a video of my friends wedding. She wore her veil for the entire evening and I didn't like it. You couldn't see her face most of the time, all you saw was a poofy veil on her head. I think it depends on your veil and how it falls. But I was disappointed because you couldn't see her. HTH
