You couldn't see her face most of the time,
That's why I took mine off - I WANTED to leave it on the whole time, but the way they steamed it, it kept falling in my face. You can't really see my face in any ceremony shots

Are you going to wear your veil for the whole reception??
I just went to 2 weddings in the last 2 weeks and both brides wore theirs the whole receptions.
So now I dont know what I want to do
i didnt want a veil at all but everyone even my mom was telling me i had to have one ok so i got a cath veil with blusher attached and i took it off right after my 1st dance when i had my dress bustled

Re: Veil Question
I originally didn't want to wear my veil to the reception but everyone talked me into it and now I am glad I did. It had a rhinestone edging that in Pics and on my video sparkled and looked beautiful. It was fingertip and stuck in the back of my head so it didnt bother me at all.
I am having a cathedral legnth veil. I waned to keep the veil on the whole day, but It didn't really seem possible. Well I found a veil that the cathedral part is held on the headpiece with velcro.

Re: Veil Question
I had a cathedral length veil w/ a blusher. I took the cathedral part off after the ceremony and wore the blusher flipped back for most of the night (when will you ever get to wear a veil again?) and I took that off after the cake cutting.
You don't have to decide now - I decided as the day went on...

Re: Veil Question
I'm going to wear the veil for the ceremony, pictures, first dance and that's it!! The dress is restricting enough for me to move around...I think with the veil on, I may step on it while dancing!!

SAME HERE-- wearing it solely for my parents, will definitely be taking it off ASAP, probably even before the first dance.

Re: Veil Question
i plan on keeping it on all night. I ordered a 2 tier fingertip, blunt edge. Nice and simple, and I feel like a REAL BRIDE when I have it on!
