So the more I think about wearing my veil for the whole night the more I am REALLY worried that its going to mess up my hair or get tugged on when I hug people (its a fingertip length veil). I was thinking of possibly getting a little cage veil or something for the reception, but I'm not sure if it would go with my dress.
What do you girls think? Here is a pic of my dress except mine will be light gold w/champagne and ivory lace
ETA: A pic of the kind of veil I was thinking of for the reception

Re: Veil question
I think a nice simple birdcage will work with it since your dress has a lot of detail.

Re: Veil question
i have no idea
this gives you a perfect reason to go back to the store and try on the gown again. that way you can see what it would look like with the cage veil on.

I would totally do that...but Lillette's only had one cage veil there and it was bandeau style (and nobody knew how to actually put it on lol) so I couldn't really get a good idea.

Re: Veil question
you could always just wear the veil for the ceremony and then take it off for the reception. that is what i am going to do most likely! hth

I love the birdcage veil and would love to pull it off, however, I don't think it goes with the dress. The dress is sooo vintage and elegant and I think the birdcage would class

i do loove the birdcage veil but doesn't really go with the dress IMO.. i would have to see it all together to really judge. HTH
