When I originally chose my dress I imaged just a simple single tier veil w/ cut edge.... But I am loving mantillas and wanted to know if you girls thought this would be mismatched??

IMHO no but maybe you could get a matilla with a thinner strip of lace so it would kind of blend more. I say that becasue I have tried that dress on in person. I love mantillas though.

The style of the dress itself seems like it would go very well with mantillas, but I notice that there's some beading on it and you have to make sure that the beading on the dress and the mantilla don't clash...but I think a mantilla would look gorgeous with that dress, I love mantillas!

The mantilla is pretty, but since the dress doesn't have lace, i think IMO it would be mismatched...sorry. But, in the end, it's your decision and your day, so you can pretty much do whatever you want!

I agree...if it is not a completely plain dress or have lace in it, it doesn't go as well.....

i kind of agree... my dress is lace and i'm considering a mantilla as well; not sure it would go that well if my dress didn't have lace. But try it on with the dress and then you'll know for sure.

Hi Dress Twin!
Here is a pic of the veil I am wearing:
It is single tiered with a few pearls on it. A little trim at the bottom.
Even if you dont' buy the veil at the wedding shop try on what they have there with the dress to make sure it is okay. I had tried on a few veils and realized that somethings really just don't go or clash with the dress.
I think a smaller edge of lace might be better with that dress but i am completely unsure.
