ok so im wearing a cathedral veil.... my dress doesn't have any bling neither does my veil they are both lace tulle and romantic. I want to take the veil off after church and pix and want something fun for my hair.... do you think i could pull off a ribbon headband with the veil???

im not very savvy with cathedral veils...where does it pin? underneath your hair or on top of your head?
Could it be something you put in after you take the veil off??

My dress is the same.. no bling.. and my veil is cathedral as well. and I have been thinking the same thing, what to put in my hair. I saw some great ribbon headbands on etsy but and so afraid to buy them, worried I'll have it.

ummm on top-- but not like a mantilla... i could do it after but i'd rather before so my hair lady can pin and glue it to my head LOL im tryin to find pix to show!!!!

I am thinking about wearing a flower fascinator in my hair, pinned underneath my cathedral length veil.
I tried an ivory flower underneath a veil, and I think it looks pretty good, but I think I needed a little bit more contrast between the veil and the flower.
I am going to try and order a black flower, and see how it looks with my veil.

ok this isnt my veil but its a good picture to show placement on the head---- its towards the back sorta but on top
and heres an example of the ribbon headband
my hair will be up but low
do we think it can be done?? i cant find pix of both together to see what it looks like

I think you can do it especially if you are only wearing veil for church and pics...I plan on taking my veil off for some pics too.
Not sure how much you're in love with the ribbon, but maybe a regular rhinestone headband with a thin headband and large rhinestone piece on it may be another option?

I am in the same boat. (cathedral veil that will be comign off, and wanting to wear a headband) I was going to do a headband similar. honestly, I dont think it will look that bad. its hard to tell though, and I ahve been scouring hte internet trying to find pics! haha
