Veils

Yesterday or the day before someone had posted a topic in regards to veils...some of you posted pictures and one of the Raphael brides posted a pix with the real silk veil...
for some reason the search isn't bringing it up.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction to finding it?

Can't remem. if it was on the O5 board or BHB...

Thanks !

Re: Veils

I loved the one in the picture that you had posted. It was something different but looked really elegant. My dress is going to be strapless as well and I just thought the whole look was elegant but unique.

I've been doing a bit of reading about all the veils out there and think I have to go the store where I am getting my dress and see the difference between all the materials that everyone is talking about.

Not sure how your pix hooks into the hair (if it does at all) and not sure I want to take that on as another 'project'.

I looked at Raphael as well and it was beautiful! Very unique and loved the atmosphere.

Thank You for the Raphael Compliment! I am very excited...

My computer is evil today, and will not do much. I will try to email them to myself at home and then try again. This is the only one that will work-(silk tulle)

does anyone have the veil thread saved from the other day to BUMP??

Veils in Bridal Shops are grossly over priced - online stores seem to have the best deals - or you could always do it yourself ...I know what you mean though about not wanting to take on another project - I am feeling overwhelmed and I still have 8 months to go!

My mother is going to make mine - I think it will make it more special when I preserve it and give it to my daughter. There are virtually no 'family heirlooms' in my family, and I am a total sentimental freak, so I love the idea of it becoming a family veil and passing it down. Thats why using a classic style is so great - it's timeless.

Let me know what you decide!

That is such a gorgeous veil. What material is it that it drapes so beautifully?
