Where did you girls get your veils? I saw one that I loved at the Wedding Atelier on 5th avenue; it was a Lori London with crystals and pearls...and was $950! I was floored! I mean, there is a lot of 'this is your wedding day etc' but over $1,000 after tax seems like an exorbitant amount of money for something to wear for half an hour (it was a cathedral length...so I will likely take it off after the ceremony).
Where did you girls get your veils? Anyone with some that are a little more 'jazzed up' but still reasonably priced?
Thanks!

Re: Veils
My FMIL bought a plain veil (cathedrial) and beaded it by hand (little by little) over the couse of a few weeks. It looks amazing and it cost her $20!!-- This was for my FSILs wedding this summer but she will be doing mine as well and I need both a cathedrial length veil and blusher.

Re: Veils
Ok I found a website http://www.visionveils.com that offers pearls and swarovski crystals on a cathedral veil with blusher for less than $200!
Anyone have experience with them?

Re: Veils
I actually bought my veil from a girl who is on the board for $20. It is a three tiered, elbow length, and ivory! It was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Since I wanted a plain veil it worked for me.
I walked into a bridal salon and told them I just wanted something simple, with maybe some beading, or pearls on it and they wanted like $600. The fact that I wanted a simple veil was like beneath this woman. I just hate shopping for things that have to do with weddings b/c people think that if you don't drop a $1,000 on a piece of tulle, then you aren't worth their time. UGHHH lol

I bought mine at Kleinfelds with my dress since the detail matched perfectly to my dress
Mine is in the album. Got it at Barron's for $125, He added pearls on it. I am also looking to sell it.

I second Barrons at tricounty. I got mine for 175 there, but it is beaded with swarovski crystals. Withouth the swarovski, some were around 100. My veil is beautiful, you can't tell the difference bet. it and the ones in all the wedding stores.

Go to Barrons at tri county. They have the best prices and will make whatever you want. When you go there make sure you bring a picture of your dress.

This is the best place for veils, there are people there that make it on site for you.
