Veils & Ebay..I am So Confused.

Veils & Ebay..I am So Confused.

I have 2 questions about veils.

I have seen some ladies saying they bought their veil on ebay. Were you at all worried about matching the color?

They may sounds like a stupid question but when people get 2 tier veils do they do it because they plan to use one layer as a blusher or is it just for the look of a fuller veil?

i don't know about the first question but as for your second question...you can do either...you can use the 2nd tier as a blusher or just have the 2nd tier because you like the fuller look....there's no wrong or right answer its whatever you want

I got ivory and it seems to be a match. If there is a problem many of the ebay vendors have good return policies!

I got a 1 tier veil, pics in my hair trial album of me wearing it, because I dont want to wear a blusher and I dont want a full veil!

Ditto! To all of that

I'm also having some detail added to the veil, a friend of one of my BM's (I just realized that's the same abbv. as 'bowel movement'... ew!) is very handy and is going to add some gold thread and swarovski crystals to it so it matches the dress perfectly

I've had alot of luck with eBay things... so I say, 'give it a try'... as far as the 2 tier veil situation: the only time you can use the uppper layer is if it has a clean edging- a lot of veils have beadwork or a raw edge or a rolled edge, if you use your top layer as a blusher, there will be a line in front of you when you walk down the aisle!!! Most blushers are also a lighter weighted material so that in your pictures, its an accent and doesn't look like something is 'covering' your face- If this doesn't sound clear, FM me!

I have to disagree with the previous poster on this ....

Both tiers of my veil were made out of the same weight of material, and both layers had crystals along the edge. There was no 'line' in front of me as I walked down the aisle -- the top tier was long enough that it wasn't in my face, and it didn't look like anything was covering my face in pics either.
