Hey everyone. This is my first post; hopefully, it works. I have tomorrow off from work and I am looking to shop for my veil and tiara. I want something simple and not too loud. But I don't know where to look.
Are there any places in Nassau/Suffolk county that are good places to search? Or places to AVOID...?

I bought my headpiece and day of jewelry at Thomas Knoell in Mineola. It's right across from Jericho Terrace. Their stuff is AMAZING, but they're $$.

I went to Barron's at the Tri-County Flea Market in Levittown, but they are only open Thursday thru Sunday. Low prices, but very nice stuff.

I second Barrons. They were great and soooo reasonable.

barrons in tricounty has a nice selection and is reasonably priced. if you don't get there first thing when it opens, you will have to wait a little while. i waited about an hour b/c there was only 1 person working. i guess the wait wouldn't be as long if the 2nd person was there.
Also be very careful with tiaras/headbands. mine cracked after having it less than 24 hours! although i wasn't playing with it, it's not the sturdiest material. learn from my mistake!!!

i think i paid like $25.00 for mine and the bridal shop asked me where i got it from and then made a comment to my mom about i bet your paid a pretty penny for that tiara

I live in Suffolk but made the trip into Bridal Styles in Brooklyn and it was so worth it!!! Found exactly what i wanted! (pics in album)

My tiara I got at a bridal store but my veil believe it or not I got on ebay. It was only like $10.00
