Veils under $50???

So i was going to borrow my friends veil, but it really doesn't go with my dress. I don't want to spend a lot of money on it. I bought one from Michael's craft store for $15....and i think it might look cheap. I can't tell because it came all wrinkled. Help! TIA!

Check out bay. I fell in love with a veil that was over $300 and even though someone else was going to pay for it I had a serious problem having that amount of $$ spent on something that will be on for less than an hour. But ebay has ALOT of pretty veils and I was very surprised at the price, and a few girls on here have gotten thiers from ebay also.

Steam out the wrinkles - Do not let your iron touch it or it will more than likely melt. Hold iron near it and use the steam. Then try it on again. It probrobly looks great.

Thanks for the advice. I should steam that one first before i buy another one. I would be so relieved if it looked really good!

Ditto! I got one on Ebay for $7! I wanted something completely plain so it worked out great.

I bought a beautiful veil with crystal beading on ebay for $29. A friend of mine bought an IDENTICAL one at Macy's for over $200!

Try it. It'll probrobly be great. My veil was about $150...mom's doing and the one they gave me is folded and looks awful. I know once steamed it'll be great. You can even go to Michael's and get crystals to sew on

Re: Veils under $50???

I found an amazing woman on ebay who custom made mine. Her email was [email protected]

I dont have a link to her listing but Im sure she could send a link to you (she shows real brides wearing her stuff)

She made me a cathedral length veil with a fingertip length blusher, rhinestones scattered throughout (rhinestones are back to back on the blusher), pencil edge

Her work is wonderful and she is so sweet to work with. She will work with you to make exactly what you want. I think her shortly veils are like $30, she charged me $75 for mine shipping included!! Mine would have run me like $300 at least in the stores!

try barrons in the flea market i heard they have lower prices than 75 but the guy told me it starts at 75 and up .. mine was 145 from there but this is much cheaper than the 300+ ones i saw in the bridal shops. but steam yours first - probably fine!

I was going to suggest trying Barron's or possibly Ebay
