Re: Veil's...Help
From what I heard there is one place after another between 5th and 7th near L&T ... I cannot remember which block Paul's was on (37th maybe?) but it's that block that supposedly has a ton of shops... We should do a group trip after work one day!
I have one name I found in the yellow pages: Symphony Bridal Veils: 225 West 37th Street, 17th Floor: 212/824-0480

I don't know your budget but I saw some gorgeous veils at Kleinfeld in Brooklyn. Just a little costly.

Thanks Lisa - I'll have to look into Symphony...I was so disappointed that Paul's Veil is closing - went there yesterday to see if he could recommend another place and he said no.
Any other places to look?

He was a jerk on the phone when I called too ... whatever - we'll find a better place!
I plan on taking a trip down there next week after work w/ my tiara to see if I can find a veil place. I'll let you know what I find!

There is a place right across the street from Kleinfelds called Sposa-something, they have veils. I don't know what their price range is though.

Re: Veil's...Help
In the city there's a place right across the street from Pauls, called Alpha Veils. One day during lunch I went in Paul's to get a quote, and also stopped in this place. She said they'll make whatever you want, and it was a little cheaper than Paul's. Don't know if anyone's ever used them, but you may want to check it out.
I have their card. It's: Alpha Veils 'Custom Order Specialist' Jung Shin , designer 25 W. 28th 212-730-1228

Re: Veil's...Help
i got mine online at veilshop.com after trying one on at a shop and figuring out i wanted a fairly plain one. was under $100 for a cathedral length 2-pc with the longer cathedral length removable. just a thought. material is really nice too.
