Vellum Paper

Where can I get relatively inexpensive vellum paper for the candle placecards? I went to Michael's yesterday but they wanted $5.99 for 10 sheets . If that's how much it is, I may have to rethink think - I need enough for about 140 votive holders!

Re: Vellum Paper

We got some at Staples but I don't remember how much it was. I believe it was about 50 sheets though.

Re: Vellum Paper

How do you affix the vellum paper to the votive candle holders?

Re: Vellum Paper

I placed two orders with EBay seller creativepapers

I got 25 sheets for $5.99 and the quality was excellent. I used it for my program covers.

How do you affix the vellum paper to the votive candle holders?

Cut the vellum to the exact size (use a template) and use a piece of double sided tape on the seam.

Re: Vellum Paper

I bought mine at paperandmore.com

I only paid $15.99 for 100 sheets, which I used less than a half of it for the our save the date and the remaining for our votive placecards.

Re: Vellum Paper

Vellum ranges in price from $15 for 100 sheets to like $25 for 50 sheets (cardstock - 43# vellum).

Where to buy depends on the color you want. I need purple (not lavender) so I will likely order on-line (depending on paperandmore.com sample) or get it from printing icon (same block as and same side of street as Paper Presentation) 18th btw 5th & 6th ave).

I have been to Sam Flax (20th btw 5th/6th), Office Max (no vellum), Paper Presentation (not the color I want), Jam Paper (6th ave btw 17th & 18th street) and Printing Icon. Jam & PIcon have the color and weight I want - 43#....but it's more expensive than I expected - like $25 for 50 sheets
